Welcome to Santa Cruz Shakespeare and our 2017 season!
Last year, we got to celebrate the opening of our brand new outdoor theater, The Audrey Stanley Grove, at Upper DeLaveaga Park. Built in record time and with overwhelming support and enthusiasm of our donors, patrons, and the City of Santa Cruz, The Grove played host to a wildly successful season enjoyed by thousands. This year, we turn our attention to creating new summer traditions at The Grove for generations of audiences, both from Santa Cruz and abroad. Take advantage of the Boyle Family picnic glade, with its sweeping views of Monterey Bay, enjoy our groundling box seats with your family or a group of friends, bring a child under 18 to see The Two Gentlemen of Verona for free with a paid adult ticket, revel in Family Matinees for children under the age of six, and, as always, enjoy the highest quality professional theatre in an unmatched outdoor setting. The Grove celebrates the power of community, and we want it to be your favorite place to see the works of Shakespeare and other amazing playwrights.
