Description
Based on the extraordinary true events of September 11, 2001, Come From Away tells the story of 38 commercial airliners that were unexpectedly diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. Nearly 7,000 stranded passengers suddenly found themselves welcomed by a community of only a few thousand residents. Through music, humor, and heartfelt storytelling, the musical chronicles the friendships, compassion, and acts of kindness that emerged during a global tragedy. The result is an uplifting and deeply moving celebration of humanity at its best.
