A staged reading of The Flower and The Fury, by Alexa Juanita Jordan, performs July 14, 15, & 16 at 7:30 pm and July 17 at 3:00 pm. ADMISSION is FREE! There is a $1.50 processing fee to make a reservation.
The Flower and The Fury follows three pregnant women as they contemplate abortion. Alexa is thrilled to make her debut with Artemisia. She will be in Chicago, leading the audience talkbacks on Friday, July 14 and Sunday, July 17. Meet this award-winning New York playwright, who has written multiple full length and one-act plays about mental health, the grey area of the #metoo movement, reproductive justice, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
